Description
Come along and watch the movie trio – The Story of Stuff, The Story of Change and The Story of Solutions – followed by a panel discussion and Q&A as we look at what is going on with all our Stuff! Michael Green, member of the Urban Bush-Carpenters who use found wood to make useful things, will be our host for the evening. Locals Claudia Vinson, Dominique Hes and Terrie Hamilton-Smith are our panel who are passionate about this Stuff issue. The doorprize hamper will be drawn so make sure you pick up your free ticket. Arrive from 6pm, be seated by 6:50pm for a 7pm start. 6pm to 9pm, Wednesday 8th October. Entry by gold coin donation. Refreshments available.Live music by The Ukelele Dolls. Description
The Loom Room and Transition Hobsons Bay are hosting the Upcycled Fibre Fiesta – an exhibition showcasing unique, upcycled creations that have been handmade from salvaged fabrics and fibres by local artists, craftworkers and social enterprises. Come along and be inspired to embark on your own upcycled projects!
